About
Alliance Francaise (AF) is the biggest (135 countries) and the oldest (120 years) French school network in the world. This Centre is an independent department of the University which was established in 1991. It works in cooperation with the A.F. General Representative affiliated to the French Embassy in Warsaw and the A.F. Polish Committee. The Centre provides instruction for all skill levels and is the only exam centre in the region to offer French certificates recognised by both the French and Polish Ministries of Education. It also spreads an awareness of French culture by hosting numerous events such as: lectures, concerts, plays, competitions and exhibitions. Those interested in French literature, periodicals or teaching methods may use its library, reading room or other facilities.
