Aviation Training Centre
About
The Aviation Training Centre (OKL) conducts its training at Rzeszów airport and complies with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and European Joint Aviation (JAR-FCL) regulations and requirements, respectively, culminating in a “frozen” airline pilot's licence (“Frozen”-ATPL). The programme uses an flight simulator Alsim 200 MCC, PZL-110 Koliber, TB-9 “Tampico”, Liberty XL2, PA-28 Arrow, and PA-34 Seneca V aeroplanes.
Fitth-year students fly an PA-34 Seneca V to Western Europe as a part of their training to get a professional licence with instrument (IR) and multi-engine (ME) ratings.
Outstanding graduates are given the chance to do Multi-Crew Cooperation training and also get a flight instructor rating. To date, more than 500 students have completed this course and most are employed with the national carrier, or work in health-service aviation and other carriers.
The Centre also offers private instruction leading to licences, and ratings using an ALSIM ALS200 MCC, based on TB-20 “Trinidad” and B-200 “Beechcraft” planes.
