Department of Physical Education and Sports
About
The Department offers intramural subjects with the aim of developing students’ agility, fitness and conditioning. It has a sports hall featuring areas for weight training, rehab, gymnastics, martial arts, tennis, handball, basketball and more. Within a year, a new sports hall with the best aquatics facilities in Central Europe will open. At present, the student body has access to an indoor pool under contract with the University.
P.E. is obligatory for 2nd and 3rd-year students, during the 3rd, 4th and 5th semesters.
Students may participate in team sports, swimming and aerobics. For the impaired and those in poor health, physical rehab is provided. With the University Club of the Academic Sports Association (KU AZS), the Department organises sailing camps and numerous sport-recreation events an activities.

The Department offers
The University uses six levels to differentiate foreign language competence, along the lines of the EU’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Language Instruction at the University covers levels A1 to B2. The particulars of these levels can be found on the University website.
